"I was so shocked to hear about Linda's passing. We met each other many years ago and our friendship took us on our first trip to California. We lost touch over the years and ran into each other in Yorkton a few years ago. We discovered we had the same last name and talked about making sure we would get together and stay in touch. Unfortunately we didn't. I have thought of her so much and her laugh and smile. I wish now life wasn't so busy that I didn't take the time out to see her. My deepest sympathies to her family. She was a tremendous, loving and caring person who really brought a joy to so many people's lives. Rest in Peace Linda! Love Susan (Rafuse) Appell"

"I met Linda about 26 years ago. She knew me by a different name. The time we shared together was short in comparison to her other friends. I have not seen her for at least 25 years, however, I was deeply saddened by her passing. I needed to apologize to her, and it was always my intention to do so. I'm so sorry I never did this in person. Godspeed, Lindalee."

"It was not that long ago I was thinking of Linda as I was not sure where she had moved to. I remember the hours we spent together on the phone when we were in highschool. The songs we sang together as I played the guitar. We had a great time. She was an amazing person. "

"Dear Hoskins family, I worked with Linda over 23 years ago at the legislative building, she was such a fun loving person. Someone you love to have in your office and work with always making you laugh and being a true friend. I haven't seen or talking with her since but was very sadden to read about her death. My thoughts and prayers go out to you."

"I had so many good times with Linda, and also Larry and Morley back when she lived with Norma Jones in the early 80's. So many parties, so little time! I lost touch with her for many years but had caught up with her again a couple of years ago. The last time I heard from her was a year or two ago when she was off to Vegas to see Wayne Newton and was so excited about it.
I'm so sorry she had such a tough time for the last few years, but you would never know it talking to her!"

"The Hoskin Family:
I am so sorry to hear about Linda. We both worked at the Legislative Buildings many many years ago and we had a mutual friend, Lynn Henderson. Although, I didn't know Linda well, I do remember that beautiful smile.
Please accept my deepest sympathy and may the love of family and friends comfort you at this time.

"My Deepest Sympathies. I met Linda 28 years ago at SGI and she became my Best Friend. We used to do everything together. We went to Edmonton for the hockey games or just to visit, went all over the province & the states to watch BJ Thomas & Tanya Tucker perform. It didn't matter if we went to the bar for a few drinks or stayed at home for tea we always had a lot of laughs, she was a very good friend. It didn't matter if I didn't see her in a few years, as soon as I did, it was like we were never apart. Within the last 10 years most of our communications were by email. I am going to miss her more than you know. God Bless you Linda, we'll be together again sometime."
