PAUL EMILE CARDINAL JOHNSON_ Born on March 28, 1968, in Prince George, B.C. After a nine month battle with cancer, Paul, with his parents, sisters and brothers by his side passed away peacefully at the Pasqua Hospital in Regina, Saskatchewan on Sunday, October 12, 2008. Paul is survived by his parents, Dorothy and Richard Johnson of Prince George, B.C. and siblings, Robin (Blaine) Werbecky of Prince George, B.C., Renee (Roy) Gallant of Langley, B.C., Pam (Ken) Klowak of Calgary, AB, Bob (Katheline) Johnson of Cremona, AB, Pat Johnson of Prince George, B.C. and Fern Waugh of Calgary, AB. Paul grew up in Prince George, B.C., where he was involved in competitive swimming, chess and football. Paul moved to Alberta in his twenty's and later attended the Devry Institute of Technology earning his degree in computer sciences. He moved to Regina to pursue his career with ISM. For the past ten years, Paul made his home in Regina and developed many close friendships. Paul loved and was loved by his many nieces and nephews, Opal (Trevor), Hayle, Amber, John; Angela; Jesse (Adrianna) Brandon, Ianna-Lee, ShamraAnn, Junior, Mandy, Kira; Clay; Grant, Izaak; Crystal (Tommy), Haley, Cage, Jackson; Ashley, Cole; August; Jennifer; Oliver; Kaitlyn; Kimberly; Braden and Olivia. The family wishes to thank all the doctors involved in his care, especially Dr. Surtie and Dr. Dolata. The nursing staff at the Allan Blair Cancer Center and Pasqua Hospital, Unit 3D was extremely compassionate and caring to Paul and his family during this difficult time. A memorial service for Paul will be held in Prince George, B.C. on Sunday, November 9, 2008. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Children's Wish Foundation in your area.
